Our Organizational Background

The chapter operates under the benevolent management of the Ashok Gondhia Memorial Trust and is affiliated with the Hemophilia Federation (India), the apex national body recognized by the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH).

Established with the vision that no person with a bleeding disorder should suffer due to lack of awareness or unaffordable medical care, our society brings together experienced hematologists, clinicians, physiotherapists, social workers, and dedicated volunteers.

Vision & Mission

• Total Comprehensive Care: Ensuring round-the-clock availability of life-saving Antihemophilic Factor (AHF) concentrates at free or highly subsidized rates.
• Accurate Diagnostic Support: Providing specialized coagulation screening, Factor VIII & IX assays, and inhibitor testing to enable correct diagnosis.
• Prevention & Genetic Counseling: Assisting families in carrier detection, prenatal diagnosis, and genetic inheritance guidance to reduce disorder incidence.
• Holistic Rehabilitation: Offering daily free physiotherapy, psychosocial counseling, youth camps, and economic empowerment programs for patients and caregivers.

Management & Governance

The Society is governed by a dedicated executive committee comprising medical professionals, senior trustees, and representatives of hemophilia families:

• Trust Management: Ashok Gondhia Memorial Trust
• Executive Committee: 15 active members (including clinicians, community leaders, and women empowerment representatives)
• Registered Beneficiaries: 425+ Persons with Hemophilia (PWH) actively supported across Rajkot and neighboring districts
